First off - Thank you for the birthday wishes on here guys :) I got some on FB as well.

Secondly, the weekend started off kinda crappy. After a fun night hanging over at the Bledsoes and watching The Proposal (cute romantic comedy) and chatting with NW crew, Saturday started off bleh. The new boots I had bought broke upon walking down the stairs so it was an 8 am run to Target, I forgot some things, and just was in a meh mood. And still hurting from PT the night before.

Game really went well for the most part. I enjoyed the RP I got, realized WHY Ilana doesn't talk to a few people (and need to figure out how to stop being terrified of a certain female barbarian who is damn intimidating...) and got to work with a lot of people she normally doesn't work with on puzzling things out. And as usual had a blast with the tribe/lodge crew. They rock in so many ways.

Had some really good personal conversations, and Ilana is going to buy Chikta a ton of new socks ;) (No pink ones!).

Sunday, we had my birthday dinner due to some miscommunication on my end; I got pretty gifts from Sparky (I adore that hairclip!) and J9. Yay! Yay for good times with friends. 14 people..holy crap :)!

I hurt sooooo much yesterday, I took the day off from the gym. Today I'm hoping to get back there.

Lesson learned:
Never go have personal trainer session night before Triumph.

I don't think there is a part of my body that doesn't hurt, and that was before the rough fall I took on the rocks at game. (One rock went straight into my kneecap and my knee is swollen to shit).

99% of game was pure win.

Other 1% was ruined by some asshats who can't follow rules.

I won't let the 1% get in my way.

There are ghosts on this show? Why?!

So let's see:

Supernatural last night. I'm still laughing over parts of it. Nutcracker! "Seriously? Seriously?" And the tandem bike. Ha! Not to mention the commercial.
*snickers* "Only untalented douchebags wear sunglasses at night." "Say we pulled it out of Sam's ass."

(Not to mention firesong_jb's confused text to me at some point.) Hee hee hee.

Anyway for the big reveal - I'm not sure how I feel about it; but well played Kripke. Because thinking back on it, there is very very subtle hints on that being the case. I have to go rewatch a few episodes to confirm; but I'm almost positive the snapping of the fingers was one of them.

I also think it's setting up something in Episode 10; that I've heard Kripke hint on, but there's no major names. However, I think I know now.

Lessee:

Girl Number 9. Why are you not watching this? It's a web show - it's only about 30 minutes total, each episode is somewhere between 3 and 6 minutes. Go. Now. Watch. Be damn impressed.
Episode 4 is the one that had my jaw drop twice in 5 minutes.

I am waiting for episode 6, which is tonight. All of the episodes will be online all month.

Go. Watch. This. Show.

James Moran, one of my favorite writers from Torchwood (he wrote the hard-hitting Season 2 Sleeper episode, which I still think is one of the best of the whole series, and co-wrote Day 3 for CoE) - has a new web-show starting tonight in the UK.

I'm not sure when we will have access to it here in the states, I hope it's within days.

Anyway, it's called "Girl Number 9" and is a six episode series. It has Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto) in it, and looks good enough that I'm going to definitely give it a check.

It's rainy, cold, and miserable outside and I'm still feeling the ick. Much better than yesterday, so hopefully it doesn't keep me down for the rest of the weekend. Though if this rain doesn't clear up...*grumbles*

So, looks like I will be in Oregon on May 1, 2010. YAY! I wonder if I can get some time off to go hit Seattle and visit friends and Vancouver, just because I've never been there. Hrms...wonder if I can plan that.

Worst and Weirdest Vampire Merchandise. Admittedly I thought the Blacula soap was kinda funny.

Secondly, I realized I was off by a week on things again. Triumph is the day after my birthday, which makes planning a dinner with some friends kinda hard, since everyone will be planning for game. I'll still see. Maybe Monday after game might be better. Don't know. What do people think?

Next several weeks are busy already on the weekends; KoLumbus is the week after Triumph. Jick and Hotstuff are going too...this should be an interesting weekend, if nothing else. :)

My right eye is hurting something awful. I'm hoping I don't have pink eye or am getting it. I'm going to keep watch on it today, hopefully nothing is going on, it's just irritated at something.

I can't wear theatre type makeup anymore. Wore a bit last week for the Haunt (made my face/neck a bit greyer for the summoner) and broke out horribly. My neck is still looking really really bad. I can't get it to heal.

Not sure if I'm going to make the haunt tonight or not; I really want to go, but I have a crapton of stuff to do at home too - and my eye and face are just..making me not want to go do anything.

Started eating different things in an attempt to get my weight loss jump started. Two pieces of rice toast with almond butter this morning (the 400 calories); and now my snack is going to be a bit of oatmeal and an egg.

My doc thinks eating 5 small meals - and on days I work out, about 2000 total calories, might help more than eating the three meals.

Since this will help me put things in perspective:

Bad: Is sick

Good: Not the flu, seems to be just a mix of cold and allergies.

Bad: Washing Machine crapped out while there was a load of laundry in it on Thursday night

Good: It's a minor issue, part has been bought for under 35 bucks, and maintenance will have it in today. Also, I ended up doing laundry by hand and THAT is a workout.

Bad: My cat's fountain is leaking

Good: It's a very slow leak, and I believe the part may be pretty cheap, but if worse comes to worse, I can buy a new one with the extra paycheck in November.

Bad: The Steelers are really being stupid sloppy in the second half of their games.

Good: They won yesterday and have a pair of easy win (better be) games coming up against the hapless Browns and the Lions.

Bad: I need a new vaccuum cleaner.

Good: I can pick and choose the next one as a Christmas gift to myself.

Bad: My credit sucks

Good: It's getting much better, as I start paying everything down.

Bad: Weight isn't going anywhere yet

Good: We are working on figuring it out. :)

Bad: I missed a phone call from someone surprising last night :(

Good: I got a phone call from someone unexpected - even if I did miss it. Will call you tonight or tomorrow ;-)

Didn't do much.

Friday, hit the gym and then wandered the Greene with dylan_graysky. Had dinner at the Pub; went to the bookstore. I bought three new books, one of which has already been finished.

Headed home and fell asleep. (Yes, I'm old.)

Saturday, I was pretty blindsided by a sinus headache, so I was pretty much down and out for the day. It finally went away about 8 pm; and I got up, ran some errands; and then plopped down to listen to KOL Radio for a bit.

Sunday, I had plans to go to the gym, but went out to help snowtiger42 and kookyduke at the haunt set up instead. After about 4 hours; we finished for the day and headed home. I was a bit happy from some paint fumes.

Ate dinner; relaxed, puttered about on the computer for a few hours.

Dude, how about that thunderstorm that rolled through here in the morning. Woke me up, but was gorgeous.

The Steelers gave that one away yesterday. Ruined some beautiful plays by Roethlisberger. The defense didn't do their job come second quarter. I have a feeling LeBeau is going to rip the defense a new asshole. As someone said this morning, "The Steelers aren't going to get worse. This is an oddity for them."

Yeah it is, but I won't blow smoke - while I still have questions on the touchdown that was ruled a non-touchdown, but Tomlin didn't question it; the fact remains, the Steelers blew that game. Got overconfident in the third quarter.

They need to get their act together or it's going to be a long season.

So NCIS was pretty good last night, NCIS Los Angeles...no. Just. No. I turned it off after 10 minutes. They canceled Eleventh Hour to put that piece of garbage on the air? *sighs* Oh well, more time on KoL radio for me at night.

Tonight is the Criminal Minds Premiere. *bounces* THAT I have been looking forward to since May. Mother fuckers...poor Hotch. All I'm sayin'.

In the Holy Crud category, I actually did some REAL writing last night! Not much, about three paragraphs, but I wrote something! (This is the novel I'm going to be working on for NaNoWriMo. One of these days I'll go back to the one I was working on when Dad died, but I don't have the heart to touch it yet.)

I want to finish that one short story that I've been sitting on. Might touch it this weekend.

Downloaded some Venus Hum and realized I have about 400 songs on my computer. Neat! Tried to download Billy Joel for my mix CD, but it was off. So need to redownload.

By the way is Google acting really odd for anyone else as of late? The google search engine to be exact. I put something in, (like how do you open an .rar file) and pull up a list, but when I click on any of them, it sends me to a website on buying an item for it. This has happened multiple times. At work, I get open DNS sites from Google. I'm going to be using Yahoo for a bit until I figure out what is going on. (Yahoo is doing fine as a search engine).

Tomorrow I get my hair done. Reminds me, I need to change the appointment TO tomorrow. Eeeps.

House. Wasn't sure I'd like the episode, but it turned out to be pretty good if you don't think about the intense amount of plot holes in the whole thing. Cause if you do, you will get a headache. And they didn't address the hallucinations. Should be interesting to see from here.

Castle was a lot of fun. I think Laine without a doubt is my favorite character. And I'm glad they didn't sweep the mother thing under the rug.

Yeah, I did a lot of nothing last night. :)

Had a fairly low key weekend. Saturday dealt with a minor headache while puddling around the apartment. Had some pain in my left side, but it's because I pulled something at the gym on Friday. Shit happens.

Sunday, had a friggen virus on my computer and ended up working about 6 hours to get THAT off. Then I called up tleventer to see if they needed any help around the house. I went over, hung out and helped in what little ways I could; and got to see the Kookyduke clan, dfirestorm and Kanuga. Left around 10:30; but good times.

Need to hit the gym a few times this week. Hopefully going to be 4 times.

I'm exciting, I know.
